Outreach & Service

At Iroquois Avenue Christ Lutheran Church we seek to help our neighbors. A Food Pantry is our major project. It is open Friday mornings at 10:00am to noon, except the first Friday of the month. We have a Clothes Closet, during the Food Pantry, on the third Friday of the month. We also have a annual Backpack Give-away to provide kid’s with school supplies and a special Christmas Food Pantry.

To help more people, we work with a number of “Partners in Service” including Gleaners and Lutheran Social Services of Michigan.

Help a little?

We are collecting the following items:

1. Plastic grocery bags and non-perishable food for Food Pantry.

2. Soap, shampoo and woman’s toiletry items for Heartline House, a Samaritan program for women leaving prison.

3. Clothing, shoes and bedding for the Clothes Closet.
